Your website needs more than a launch; it needs a partner. Get the ongoing support, updates, and strategy that keep your site working as hard as you do.
For businesses with a WordPress site that needs reliable, ongoing help, without hiring a full-time developer.
You’ve got a marketing team, an ops team, maybe a developer somewhere…but everyone’s already buried. Website tasks keep getting pushed to the bottom of the list. You need someone whose job it actually is.
You invested in a great website. Then nothing changed for 18 months. Every time you want to update something, it turns into a project. You need consistent forward motion, not occasional sprints.
Your site runs on WordPress. Nobody on your team knows it well enough to do anything beyond editing text. You need someone who can handle the technical side without you having to translate.
Every website needs ongoing care. Plugins update. Security threats evolve. Content goes stale. Conversion paths break. Things you launched last quarter need a tweak this quarter.
A retainer fixes that. You get a reliable partner who knows your site, handles the ongoing work, and keeps things moving…without you having to build a department around it.
I started Expressive Web Design because I kept seeing brilliant business owners stuck behind brands that didn’t do them justice. Logos that didn’t fit. Websites built on templates with no real strategy. Beautiful businesses hidden behind generic visuals.
I do branding and websites because they shouldn’t be separated in the first place. When you build them together, with strategy underneath both, you get something that actually works — not just something that looks good.
For the last 10 years, I’ve been helping businesses build brands that finally feel like them, paired with websites that pull their weight.
If that’s the partner you’ve been looking for, let’s talk.
Yes. You can move up or down between packages with 30 days’ notice.
We’ll scope the extra work separately. You won’t get nickel-and-dimed for going slightly over; but if a real project shows up (a new page build, a major feature, a campaign push), I’ll quote it before we start.
No. Retainers are designed to keep work consistent month-to-month, not stockpile hours for later. If you find you’re consistently not using your hours, we’ll move you down a tier.
Month-to-month with a 30-day cancellation notice. No long-term contracts. If it’s not working, you tell me, and we wind down cleanly within 30 days
Yes. Many retainer clients didn’t have me build their original site. There’s no onboarding fee; I’ll get familiar with your setup as part of the first month’s work. We’ll just chat through the basics on the discovery call so I know what to expect.
I focus exclusively on WordPress for retainers. If your site is on Squarespace, Wix, or another platform, I’d recommend finding a specialist for that platform. Happy to point you in a direction.
